The glory of finding love at the most random moment.
It's almost time to go, but I can't bear to leave.
I'd rather die than be away from him.
It's so early to feel this way,
But I'm already hooked.

This is dangerous,
I'm falling too fast.
My heart can't handle another assault.
But I think this is different.

And then it happened.
He looked into my eyes,
Glanced towards my lips,
That's when I knew.

I knew that this was so different.
It was real this time.
It was about more than lust,
Not love, but something similar.

He bent his head down slowly,
I let my eyes flutter closed.
Our lips touched gently,
Then there were fireworks.

My heart nearly exploded,
His hands held the back of my neck tightly,
Securing my face to his,
And then it was effortless.

I felt everything evaporate in that moment.
Alll the feelings of hate and resentment for other people,
The stress, the worry, the pain,
It all faded and I felt nothing but this.

This feeling of bliss,
I felt like anything could happen,
I could do anything,
But I don't want to end this moment.

He pulls back,
Leaning his forehead to mine,
I breathe in slowly,
Trying to absorb the moment.

I soak it in,
The smell of a late night,
The glow from the street lamp
And the faint twinkling of stars overhead.

I don't want to forget this moment,
Sitting on the car,
Lost in each others eyes,
Falling too fast.
