A poem I was inspired to write late one night by one of my best teenage friends
Teenagers all messin’ round
Stupid smileys, random frowns.

Party here and party now
Want to, can’t, dude hear me out.

Fallen stars on bustling cities,
He was handsome, she was pretty.

Rifts were formed and love decayed
And ticked the clock two months away.

Until one night she crossed his mind
And then was friendship redefined.

Teenagers still makin’ a mess
Facebook, IM, sendin texts

I heard our song! I miss you babe!
You hate me? Yes I do! Jk…

Fights and storms and raindrops fall
But true friends rise above it all

In the clouds they sit on rainbows,
For each other, guardian angels
