This is advice for my cousin Its about what life is like and how to overcome it.
Life is like a skating rink
Wooden and filled with many dents
That rink has seen better days, and worse days.
No matter how bad, it’s always there and never beat.
All you can do is keep going in that one direction.
Move to that unseen rhythm, that lets you soar.
And when you fall, it will hurt.
But you have got to get back up again, and start the rhythm over.
‘Cause if you don’t, you will be trampled, stepped on, and harmed.
So dust yourself off, and get rolling again.
The more you go, the better you’ll be.
I’m still going, and I’m getting better.
I’ve fallen and gotten back up, only to fall again.
But I keep trying, I’ll never give up.
Cause life is like a skating rink.
