My first attempt at Poetry, any 'constructive' criticism is greatly appreciated. :D
You strike me as a guardian,
pallid and cratered as you may be.
You reflect in the mist like a mirror,
showing your stark splendor.
Outshining thy companions,
in your grandeur.

Me, though I am mighty and ancient as well,
do not shine brightly in the night sky,
For I am forever earthbound,
longing for the cosmos.
