A poem by me.
When the moon waxes and wanes,
They know it’s the same,
My heart is in pain,
It has been for days,
Without passion by my side,
How can I stay, how can I hide,
You are the guiding light in my darkness,
Without you, I am detached from all,
I fear the final curtain call,
This old love has gone on forever, this old love has lost it’s lustre,
I have been trying, and pushing forever,
If you don’t turn around, my heart will again wilt a little, whatever,
But, so be it, it’s the drive of the passion thrusting through my veins and corralling into my bones,
I fail to hear the absent moans and groans,
You’ll hear them speak so easily about how the light goes off,
But, even the most gruesome and feared of all love could not make me fear disappearing love,
So, listen to me and believe me when I say I need you,
Your drive may not go as far as I’d prefer,
Fate will stop dead in it’s tracks making random attacks,
Should this be my destination or not,
You will still be my fix, my dear.
