A boy is tired of life and love
He tore out the page
Like she tore out his heart
He was filled with blind rage
She had just played her part

The tears were flowing down
He didn't care
He wanted to drown
or just run out of air

He finished the note
He picked up the gun
The last thing he wrote:
"This is it, I'm done"

She was the first to find him
-His parents were out
Her world seemed to dim
As she tried to shout

But no words escaped
She picked up his note
and her jaw gaped

"I'm sorry my love
And I'm sorry to say
I've seen my final setting sun
It's better this way
This is it, I'm done"

She picked up the magnum
The tears overflowing
The bullet was welcome
Still no one else knowing

Two souls broken
Lost to despair
Didn't anyone listen?
...Didn't anyone care?
