She trusted you..
You told her forever.
You said you'd protect her.
You told her you loved her.

She gave you everything.
Her life, her dreams.
She trusted you with anything.

But you betrayed everything
Your promises to keep her safe
Even her trust in you

You blamed her
The way she was dressed.
The way she "begged" for you.
You ignored her cries
You ignored her pleas
You called her a tease
She wanted to die.

You made her blame herself
You made her put her heart on a hidden shelf
She masked the pain, but I could see
The life you ruined to set yours free.

Well, now she lies on the floor
With a note that said:
"I can't take it anymore"
You should be there instead.
