Written in response to what one beautiful lady continually told me through our romanticism
To those who do not understand the quote:

I'm five steps ahead within anything.  Three of them are wrong...meaning I'm completely over thinking the situation.  Moral being I need to chill the hell out, and just live.

“You’re five steps ahead and three of them are wrong.”

My mind persistently races, relentless with paranoia:
Seemingly it wanders places—throughout all the indiscriminate faces.
Thinking, drifting, and migrating— throughout all the haphazard places.
Thoughts, judgments, and opinions—my mind obstinately embraces.
Suspicion, mistrust, and fear: My mind incessantly chases.

“You’re five steps ahead and three of them are wrong.”

I must sit back, relax—lighten Up—
                                                    and wind Down.
Breathe deep, ease up, and let go—accept the unknown.
Acknowledge, accept, and concede—forfeit to the profound.
If not—within inappropriate conclusions:
                                                          I shall drown.

“You’re five steps ahead and three of them are wrong.”

I shall seize this throughout Life, and take delight in Life’s mystery.
The astonishing, dreadful, marvelous, and horrendous:
                                                                                All of Life’s scenery.
I shall confiscate this phrase; enclose every characteristic inside my psyche:
                                                                                   My first robbery.
As reinforcement, we WILL be together:
                                                                  To Hell with adultery.

“You’re five steps ahead and three of them are wrong.”

An expression She created.  A phrase to her it does belong.
Leaving me heels over head: My sentiment so strong.
Oh I miss you so much; I’m to make it renown,
My hearts’ filling up; displacing my feet off the ground.
I’m releasing my trepidation and opening up to the unknown.

“You’re five steps ahead and three of them are wrong.”
