A hopeful poem that I wrote for my teacher and her child, whom has neuroblastoma cancer.
Sadness, no longer momentary
Everlasting
If one life is the same as another,
Then why not one of us, instead of innocence?

The time has come
The end is near
The darkness blinds us.
The love has lived.

Then the darkness shines.
Shines with deep blue light.
The end isn’t any closer.
The love is living.

A hand reaches out and takes us in its grasp.
It may just bring the innocence back with us.
The innocence in all of us shall live regardless.
Let us live love while love lasts.

The love of our lives is single and the same.
Innocence is our past, present, and future.
Lets bring it back to us.
Innocence, Dear sweet innocence, we adore thee.
