Trying to reach where you can't
Footprints in the sand,
Washed away by the tears of the world,
The trail cleansed of any clue you were there,
No one will find you; dare to look as a storm fetus mature,
Cries cover your path, your feet….
Looking back nothing is there only that from which you came.
A past that you can identify with,
A gigantic future stands before you, while a storm rages and grows,
Lingering in the air, time, merits, ambition, morals…takes its place.
Dare to dream a big dream.
Reaching for the Milky Way, no stars to fall back on,
No tree tops to land in, just you and your fall into a black hole.
Sinking in the sand where you now stand.
Where all men have their beginnings and some are destroyed.
The Storm catches up with you, nowhere to go or hide.
No one will find you or dare to look.
Sinking in the sand where you now stand.
Footprints in the sand washed away, fed the storm that’s now upon you.
