This poem is about a girl secret. Please read to find out what it is.
A girl that walks around daily
A girl who has no name
The girl who walks around daily
Who reminds herself of yesterday's pain
That pain
That had brought her years of tears
Tears that taste of salt and dirt
The taste that resembles the hurt
Through many days and nights
She searches through the ifs and mights
To forget her past is her gaol
A past too horrible to be told
A past that flashes behind her closed eyes
Reminding her of the secrets she choose to hide
The secret that no one knew
The secret that was waiting to be recealed by the truth
A brother whose name she dare not say
But it's his face that hunts her through the day
His touch that she is forced to remember
To think it was done by her own family member
By her own flesh and blood
And her mother just watched while it was done
The police couldn't do anything
They lied about everything
There was nothing else to do
And giving this last clue
Her brother was charged with rape long time ago
And with that the girl has no secret anymore
