A poem I had to write for english class...
The surface is as smooth as glass
Unblemished, beautiful
Sleeping peacefully

A willow stands on the shore
Weeping, leaning
Crying dew drops

A single tear shatters peace
Rippling, waving
Radiating chaos

Time crawled by as mayhem grew wider
Flowing, swelling
Gaining circumference

The turmoil is composing
Slowing, smoothing
Returning to tranquility
