The second poem comin in on the new flow. Sequel coming soon.
What would you say if I said I miss you
What would you say if I missed your voice saying my name
What would you say if I missed your soothing touch
Day in and day out I have to look you in the face
Day in and day out I have to put on my mask
Everyday I wake and put on my armor
Everyday I'll walk out that door
Armored up with my mask on my face
Everyday I'll look you in the eye and lie
Tell you I don't miss you
Tell you I don't want you
Everyday you bash and thrash at me
Everyday you'll lie and say your sorry
And ask me for help
Everyday I'll look you in the eye and lie
And I'll smile
I'll look you in the eye
and lie and say 'its ok'
I'll take off my Armor
And forgive you
When my armor is down
And I'm vulnerable looking into your eyes
You'll take a dagger to my heart
And you'll twist and you'll turn
You'll bash and you'll thrash
And then nothing
Everyday I'll wake
And everyday I'll walk out that door
To fight this battle again and again
Day in
and Day out
