I wrote this with someone in mind.
Standing in the rain
Mental focus is foggy
Feeling my own pain.

Standing beside you
Life continues to go
Still forward and true.

since that day when
Everything was a blur
But I remember then.

Feeling you next to me
viewing the blue skies
Seeing green of the tree.

Perhaps my world dims
Black and white viewing
Living like a calculated sim.

The memories we save
Words are few with loss
As I stand at your grave.
