Some more cliché romantics.
A shiver accompanied by a sated sigh,
Does quiver, as hours unnoticed slip by.
A smile, marking another fine day,
A while, that's all she chooses to stay,
It's always a while, never much more,
Whether hours or days, please I implore,
I see I'm demanding, and trying and hard,
Your understanding my dear, I beg for a shard.
I'm perpetually egoistic, and  forever crude,
Too oft simplistic, and frequently rude.
I'm left morose, nowhere near as you deserve,
Despite trying my utmost; there's nought in reserve.
But this shouldn't mean I'm denied what I need,
As low as I seem, I'm human, I bleed.
Love is ineffable, the triumph of all,
Time itself, exists as a thrall.
So though I'm insatiable, relentlessly asking,
It's because of the love, your effect I'm carelessly tasking,
My happiness, my joy, my sanity, my soul,
I need you in my life,
to keep these things whole.
