Poem about the therapy of writing in your journal
Journal

Journal you capture all the crazy
Seal my pain inside your crisp pages
The part that I allow no one to see
From within you a release engages

The drug of writing replaces the urge
When my head fills with thoughts of dark days
The feelings of guilt and hate I try to purge
You save me from my evil ways

Withdrawel from sin is hard to bare
The desire for pain increases
Instead of sinking into despair
I look to you for my releases

I make it through these days clean
I can face the ones that care
In your pages left unseen
The evil me you snare
