It's a not a religion, it's a RELATIONSHIP!
They say religion is
what you believe in,
the part of you that
should always be true.
Yet what is truth if it's
only goal is to condemn?

They treat religion like a class,
discrimation's the key.
Bow before the Golden Rule
or fall straight into Hades.

Religious souls wandering about,
not converting people is their only concern.
I find that I am not religious, just a simple soul
a vessel, whose been redeemed and forgiven.

Instead of true worship,
we oftentimes play the fool.
Liftin our hands in church,
wearin' crosses round our necks.
We've made religion a contest,
to see who is the best.

They say religion is
what you believe in,
the part of you that
should always be true.
Yet religion condemns people,
you don't want that do you?

If religion's aim is to condemn
then why do we categorize it as
our lifeline?

If religion has become simply a game,
no relationships made, then why are we
victims to the unnecessarily caused "pain"?

Why are you so afraid of the spiritual realm,
that which you can't understand?
