The poem I read at my mom's funeral. She loved the beach so much.

There must be palm trees in heaven
I see them when I shut my eyes
Ocean breeze like silk to skin
Shimmered wings fill the skies

All the sunsets and the beauty
that I know you loved so much
And all the beach to walk on
And all the waves to touch

If you wait for me there I promise
I'll keep dreaming of the sand
I know that you’ll just love it
All the shells you’ll dig for there

I know you won’t feel pain there
Or worry like you do
Or sleep scared with the light on,
There will be new light for you

And when we join hand to hand
First thing I know we'll do
Make snow angels in the sand
One for me and one for you.
