Sometimes a person enters your life and takes you up from the depths of your darkness.
Across the face of darkness
she moved,
like a thought you can't define.
A substitute spark.  Sliver of
decency.  Decadent on the dusty
derelict trails of my disorder.

She evolved,
in the rapidly, righteous way
you can't rebuff.
A substantiated symmetry.  Soliloquy for
my internal moral audience.
Resplendant in the rain
riven, river of my
resident kindness.
A sanctified slap
across my face of diminishing
darkness...
