Just a poem that I made last year, just adjusted it a bit
It happened so suddenly
a wave to pain and suffering raging
as two waves of soldiers invaded a small, tiny town

It was so painful to watch, and yet I stood from a nearby tree unnoticed
as the town became from something peaceful to a bloody war
The river nearby became filled with blood
these trenches filled with bodies as minutes went by
clashing of swords, flying of silver arrows or bullets

And the worst is
the war was for no real reason
It was for the oil we lived over

Lives that charged into war, believing that they will see their families again
Innocent people fell defending their children
and....
humanity was lost in this fight

What have be become
some demons that look like our ancestors?
We should be loving and caring,
not like... them...

We, as a species, have fallen into the shadows
when are we going to see one another again without threats and pain?
