Pain you can’t understand

I look for answers

As to why I’m so messed up

As to why I’ve turned to drugs and alcohol

And a blade that I use to cut



I’m looking for the answers

That I cant seen to find

Looking for a reason to be on earth

And I’m running out of time



Depression a fight I’m loosing

Depression something your cant understand

Depression the cause of my losses

I’ve lost friends family and nearly myself



I didn’t ask for this

Or choose to push my loved ones away

It’s simply something I can’t control

Something I continue to struggle with everyday



You want to understand me

But I don’t understand myself

I’m trapped inside this person

And ill never be able to escape
