a sad entry
Death

By: Ida Matilda Wright

Sometimes feels inviting

Its arms waiting to take away

The pain that's too strong

To even say

To be without the tears

The sobs of your own voice

Feels your broken heart with your worst fears

Would be a likely choice

Love feels so neglected

Feels as though you've turned to stone

By another's words-pain projected

And you feel so alone

If the sun never rises

I wish I could care

Maybe if my heart was soft

Maybe if my love I had never shared

Maybe if I were loved too

As much as I loved you
