A short poem. (:
I close my eyes
Trying to hide
The water behind my eyelids.
Deep inside.
Covering my cries;
Too embarrassed to abide
Of looking you in the eye.
I know you love me.
I know it's true.
And that is why it hurts when I hurt you.
I know I was wrong,
But I was trying to be strong.
By closing my eyes
And trying to hide
The water behind my eyelids.
