first time putting anything out there, just a short poem. thanks for reading!
Adhering to a structure,
built to secure and conceal.
The walls are paper thin,
fore my shelter isn't real.

One gust from a misspoken sigh,
leaves me revealed.
The lights flicker on,
as my woulds show unhealed.

Mere scrapes and cuts,
my lessons go unlearned.
Stares from a crowd,
with their backs forever turned.

The walls alight with flames,
as the cold rushes in.
Illumination of the idea,
of what really should have been.
