This poem is about a young girl searching for love and losing the love of her life.
I remember looking back at her baby pictures, small toes, her nose and her beautiful smile.
The world seems so… innocent when she was a child,
she had a father she thought would never leave her side,
till the day he walked out the door he never said goodbye.
Her smile turned upside down to a frown mayday…
mayday this little girl going down,
that moment in her life caused a negative change,
looking for love in a man, she did some wrong things,
sex at the age of 15 to feel close,
with any man she  felt that could love her the most.
Deep down inside she felt so gross,
mentally disturbed in the need of love,
for her father’s protection, compassion and love.
From the outside she appears to be hard like a rock,
from the inside the waterfall of tears don’t stop.
I look into her eyes I see oceans of sadness, hurricanes of confusion and madness,
drowning in her own tears, haunted by her fears,
living out her childhood for 38 years,
praying for a way to escape and disappear.
