A tribute to a fellow dancer but mostly a fellow young woman.
A girl gone too soon
The throat closes
The eyes swell
And tears start to fall
For a girl that the world will never see again
Nor her children at all.

A girl gone too soon
And who could say that one day they knew
Would be one day too soon.

The heart breaks
And tears start to fall
For the girl who won’t grow old at all.

I never knew you as well as I had liked.
I will never know you’re most deepest secrets.
But I know that you had lived and loved
And that you love still.

I know by those countless mourners
Who love you and miss still
Even when their own children have grown.
