Feelings about moving on.
If you told me to let go,
And I never did,
Would that lead me here?
Or would I be who I used to be?
Most don’t know,
But I won’t forget,
Through pain and misery,
You can only harvest regret,
So don’t look at the past,
Keep looking ahead,
Because I know now,
I’m the one by far ahead.
