The poem is about my mother's endearing nature and character
MY MOTHER
Where do I begin to describe you?
There is much to say
and less time to say it in.
You made everything okay
Miraculously!
The love in you is endless
You make my world lustrous

Where do I begin, to describe you?
It seems so indescribable
Words evade me!
Have every virtue imaginable,
Mother like no other,
Even a stinging reproach
sounds like love in guise bestowed.

Where and how do I describe you?
The security that you gifted,
Was rare and far from restricted.
None can offer security
Or unflawed love guarantee.
Oh! my Mother like no other.
You’re priceless
And even to us, our father.

You have in your heart a part of me,
Closer than the closest of friends,
This you agree and ‘twill always be!
.
