A take of a very debilitating disease
Realizing your within a custom soundproof glass box
With thoughts echoing and reverberating within
No ability of them leaving your mind
Asking, pleading to ones within vocal distance
Only to be looked at you as if you’re not making any sense
Random thoughts within verbal muffled words
Inability of stating your needs
A feeling of trekking through your minds thick binding weeds
Lights within have caught your distracted attention
Like a bugs attraction hoping not for the same results
Forcing a more inattentive look upon your face
Taking a different direction with your new distraction
Leaving you to appear with more of a blank look with your new found incentive
New found lights seem to be calling you home
Warm, caring and understanding
Strong desire to take a walk with the light
As when hiking in the woods with no desire to return
With the calmness of what you've always yearned
Taking that final turn
Hoping to fly and not burn -
