"A Winter Dream"

I dream of a flower
That grows by a stream
In a hummingbird meadow
Lost in these hills
I dream of its fragrance
So crisp and so clean
As it stands by itself
So quietly still
I dream of its petals
Its stem and its leaves
I dream of the land
Where it lives its short life
I dream of its charm
The warmth of its spring
I dream of a flower
This dark chilly night
