A romantic love poem.
Chain Link Fence Movies on a Friday night
Along with popcorn and a sprite
I wish I may, I wish I might
Get a little kiss tonight
My heart is beating out my chest
A link of our love begins to compress
Fun and games, its all a joke
Our waitress has now brought our coke
I look in your eyes to see the truth
Then you begin to make your move
Looking back now- we probably should have stopped
A chain of our love begins to unlock
We take a ride; Down that path
Finding our way to your house
I know you think it’s a bad idea
But I promise, honey, our time is near
Little kids, rolling around
Our love has turned into this mound.
A mound of our families, all of this happiness
But one thing that hasn’t changed
Is that little white fence.
