Poem for a tattooed woman
Painted Lady

In my mind, there sat I;
A Painted Lady happened by.

What story, told her art?
A story of her passioned heart.

Dagger, a heart, a rose;
Something in her - my fire grows.

Inside, behind her ink-
Pleasured passions reside I think.

Her beauty- tall and toned;
Wanted I to follow her home.

Her azure eyes - a glance;
Trapped now I, in her lovely Trance.

Her lips - try I to taste;
Awake now I; miss I her face.

In my mind, there sat I;
A Painted Lady happened by.
