My Liege! For Your sake forbear,
The inhumanly torture,
What enmity does lie;
Between the vast channel and the feeble drop?

You, the Owner of the seven skies,
Live in mere grandeur,
What fault had this fool done, my Liege,
Who owes nothing but his rusted body?

My Liege! I do seek Your mercy,
For by my troth I had been unfaithful servant,
How unwise I were to accuse You,
Verily I am likely to suffer!
