Cause we've all been through this at some point
If you only knew,
How much I love you,
And I know that it is really true,
Nobody will love you like I do,
If you asked me how I feel about you; looking me in the eye,
I would shake my head laughing or smiling, and then tell you a lie,
And as we would say our ‘goodbye’,
I’d feel the rest of my hope die,
Because with you I want to be,
But I keep my feelings to me,
I know that you’ll never see,
That I am drowning in the sea,
And you are my whole damn world,
And if you gave me the word,
I’d protect you with my imaginary sword,
But I know you would quickly get bored,
Being with you is my dream,
When I wake up I scream,
During my dreams; when you look at me; your eyes gleam,
With love for me however in reality we were never a team,
You are the one who makes my day,
When you’re near I want you to stay,
But you just walk away,
Turning my life to grey,
And you will never see that picture of us I drew,
Because I don’t want you to know that I love you.
