Poem about depression
~Depression~
        by ~Minja~

I see you run to read
same familiar feelings or even
to discover a new words that
would perfectly explain how
you feel-
when you walk down the street
and see a homeless man,
when you lay down at night
with headache and intrinsic voices and
not with hope for dreams,
when the rain drops fall on window
and all you think about is tears,
when you think smiling is awkward
and when expressing yourself
is the hardest thing you ever did...

     sorry for disappointment

this poem is not about being
helpless,
worthless,
dejected,
distressed,
miserable,
sorrowful,
woeful,
forlorn,
fragile,
dreadful,
catatonic,
brittle.
It's about opened window and vitamin D,
it's about smell of the spring-ish air,
it's about rain that means new life for your plants,
it's about putting a coin in homeless' hat,
it's about pray before your dream,
it's about expressing yourself on a piece of paper,
it's about breathing and exercise,
it's about forgetting your worries,
it's about learning to enjoy in loneliness,
it's about not seeing yourself as a problem to be solved,
it's about telling to yourself the same,
it's about thousands more simple reasons
why you should wake up in the morning;

it's about living life.
