A poem about needing help
Am I skinny?
Am I skinny if I can see my bones?
Am I skinny if my body feels heavy despite the scale?
Am I skinny if my skin is as thin as my waistline?
Am I skinny if I need extra hair to keep me warm?
I am skinny if I can wrap my hand
Around my wrist
And twist
And pull
Until all of the fat falls off
And all you can see is my pretty, pretty soul
