The Good Stuff is outside our comfort zone!
THE COMFORT ZONE

Footsteps that I have left,
remain my enemy's evidence.
on pathways to all my sins,
leaving me with sad regrets,

Why must I fall many days,
before I can first believe?
Can't see past my own ways,
until I'm broken and I bleed.

I've been there so many times,
in the dust of my mistakes.
But you're here to pick me up,
as many times as it takes.

Can I fall into your arms?
I can't bear this pain alone.
Just be with me while I learn,
Your divine will; not my own.

I'm damaged goods from free falls,
into my own stubborn willfulness,
If I listened to the Savior's calls,
I wouldn't be this fractured mess.

Am I broken too much to save?
I feel so unworthy deep inside,
for the sacrifice you gave,
and the blood that was applied.

Help me make a new start,
I've tried to do this on my own.
Take the rusted keys of my heart,
lead me into the comfort zone.

NOTES: Even though we think we've made such a mess of our lives and ourselves, God can restore us to a place of respect, honor, and purpose.
