being isolated alone
Covid Isolation of 2020

I am not faring too well,
as a virus is making me hide,
and I hate being alone,
I'm locked away inside.

I cannot see my family,
I'm forced to stay on my own.
I'm locked away inside,
and I hate being alone.

Because I cannot work
I miss the pay on which I've relied,
and I hate being alone.
I'm locked away inside.

Though I connect with the computer,
chat with friends on the phone,
I'm locked away inside,
and I hate being alone.
