You can't be what you're not.
You can’t be what you’re not
That’s what they tell me
Even though I try
People can see through me
Even when I’m in my hole
They poke around and ask me questions
So I lie
But lying is another form of hiding
And when I hide
They can still find me
As I am discovered
A little bit of my soul is chipped away
Revealing what I am underneath
But I can’t stop
