Tick tock--silence.
Oh, dear! My clock has broken.
The question is,
will I replace my clock?

Time says, "Of course!
You must maintain your promptness!"
The question is,
will I replace my clock?

Time warns, "Remember,
Tide and I wait for no man!"
The question is,
will I replace my clock?

Silence--silence...
I know! My clock is broken.
The answer is
I will not replace my clock!
