Know it’s for the better.

The wind whirls through her hair.

The platform on which they stood is solid and cold.

Many stand and watch, yet all she sees is he.

He who wiped her eyes from sorrow and nourished her spirit back to health.

He places his hand on her cheek.

Know it’s for the better.
