My attempt at a poem for the more philosophical crowd.
Born in a hospital,
my life began in 1984.
What have I done since then?
It is now 2024.

Raised to be a kind man,
I learned much from my mother.
Raised to be a strong man,
I learned much from my father.

Forty years have passed,
and I'm still learning a lot.
The more I learn, the more I see,
that life is all we've got.

Life continues no matter what,
Nineties films had influence.
But death is always there.
A reminder of consequence.

Still, I continue,
In hope that one day
My child will succeed,
And have his say.

Life is meaning.
Purpose with skill.
And it harm no one,
Do what you will.
