final donut
final Donut

34 lines

The doctors had bad news
for old Joe Lewis,

“You are now diabetic
And have dangerously high
Cholesterol to boot.

And you can not continue
To eat what you want

Specifically,
Mocha coffee, ice cream
Big Macs and jelly-filled donuts
They are now poisin for you.”

He went to his favorite donut shop
Told the owner the bad news

And said,
He wanted to eat his final
Jelly-filled donut,
And his final mocha coffee.

The owner brought it out
And told him,

“It is on the house
Enjoy it while you can.
Starting tomorrow,
I am banning you from the store
For your own benefit.”

Joe smiled and said,

That was fine with him.

And ate his last donut
strawberry cream-filled chocolate donut
and mocha coffee with whipped cream

He died of a massive heart attack
As he had his final Big Mac
After eating the fatal donut.
