God Says What Will Happen

Scripture:Revelation 1:1-3

Scripture Verse: “We trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Edit: “People trust in the name of God,” “People can trust God.”

God’s Attribute: Holy. “God Is holy. God Is always good/God Is good all the time.”

Main Truth: God has a plan for people.

Story: “God Is listening, God Is listening, to each word I say, God will hear me, God will hear me, each time I pray. Our hands we fold, our heads we bow, so we can talk to God right now. Thank you, God, for bringing Cain and Abel and Seth…”name each child “here today. Thank you, God, for Your holy book, the Bible. Amen.” Hold up the Bible. “Does anybody know what book this is? This book is the Bible. The Bible is God’s word and it’s the truth. ‘The Bible is true, the Bible is true, and everything the Bible says, the Bible is true.’

“God has a plan for people everywhere. That means God knows what to do.”

”Jesus knew about God’s plan for people.” Show picture of Jesus.

”Jesus had a friend named John.” Show picture of another man. “Jesus told John about God’s plan.”

”John wrote down what Jesus told John.” Pretend to write.

“John wrote down what God would do.”

“People can know what God Is going to do.”

“God Is holy. God Is always good.”

We can trust God’s plan.”

Questions: 1) What is this book? This book is the Bible. 2) Who is holy? God Is holy.

Intro: Pass out Bells. “People can trust God. Cain and Abel and Miss Teacher can trust God. Let’s sing about trusting God.” Trust and Obey.

Intro: Pass out ribbons. “God Is holy. God Is always good. “ Good Is So Good. God Gives us the Bible.

Intro:Pass out shakers. “God loves people. God Is always good. People can sing about how good God Is.” Praise Him, Praise Him.

Quiet Time: Blanket, lights out, Jesus Loves Me. If we have a globe, sing He’s Got the Whole World. Sing GOD’S got the whole world.

Large Muscle Time: Hoop, balls, marching.
