Poem about feeling bored and disinterested when you should be focused.
Boring day never ending.
I peer out of the spotted window thru bars of white onto the cloudy yard.
My mind spinning with nothing turning.
My head is laying on my hand that sits upon the desk.
People walking by as if slow motion was their normal speed.
This time of day everyone’s going home.
I wish I could.

Boring day never closing.
My mouth extends, releasing a deep and tired breath.
My eyes heavy from exhaustion, yet never closes.
Nothing to do but listen to the speaker
Saying nothing of importance.
I tap my foot with the ticking of time.
Wishing it would speed then slow in its pacing rhyme.

Boring night coming to an end.
Nothing done but ink on a paper.
I jot down nothing in particular.
This paper reads of something ignorantly important.
Now closed in a binder and left for tomorrow.
I change into my pajamas and at the days end,
I close my eyes and sleep until tomorrow begins
