I put a few tragic thing that i see togther as a poem. only one of the experiences is mine
One week ago I saw a child killed by car. His vision, hazed with drink, never saw the tiny presence until the windshield was painted red.
         Innocence Lost
Last month my Grandfather died in an unnatural sleep he was under for a minor surgery. The doctor said these things happen as he collected his fee for the job he had done.
         Innocence Lost
Last year a neighbor's nine-year-collie was killed for wandering toc close to one man's yard who didn't like dogs and took one more from this world. A duty he was proud to do
         Innocence Lost
Five years ago my best friends' body was found a week after she'd run away from an abusive father and a drunk mother. She once told me that she would rather be dead than stay a few more days. At her funeral, her mother still drunk, her father was not even there. All I could think for my last words to her were: "You got your wish," and then I walked away
         Innocence Lost
And ten years before that my brother was sent to a war across the sea, where his legs remained even after he returned. His wounds healed, the bruises fade, but the pain remained, in his eyes, from now until forever. And nothing would ever be the same
         Innocence gone
Eighteen long years ago a baby was born full of life, wonder and hope. Seeing the world through eyes unclouded. Innocent eyes that did not remain
