A poem I had written a few years ago for my son.
My grown little boy
Through the years I've watched you grow,
Through sad times and happy times,
through good and bad,
some went fast while others were slow.

There comes a time in every mom's life,
When her little boy say's...
"Mom, I think I've grown, and I want a wife".
And out of the blue, he's old enough to plan his own life.

Lord how all this can make a mom cry,
as she watches her son grow from infant to man.
And she wonders....why oh why,
does precious life have to so quickly fly.

So much love flows through mom's hearts,
as she watches those birthdays come and go.
And yet it's oh so splended when their boys grow up,
to be gifted and handsome, but yet not grow apart.
