A doctor soothes a nervous patient.
The doctor touched Sarah's shoulder as the anesthesiologist approached the operating table, "You can trust me, you'll be fine."

Sarah took a deep breath, inhaling the anesthesia. As she counted backward from ten, she pictured her face post surgery. Finally the damage Jake inflicted would heal and she could move on with her life.
