I wrote this not too long after a very good friend of my family's committed suicide.
I know it's happening,
lots of people do,
everyone here on earth is slowly dying.

From the day we are born,
our days are numbered,
most of us just enjoy life immensely,
a few of us worry and fret.

Most of us accept it willingly,
others try to fight it off,
but death is surely coming.
When? Some ask themselves.

Nobody knows, because we are not
in charge of that.
God is in charge of when our
number is up, and He calls us
home when He wants us to return there.
