It your fault he beats you
You start to believe that he is right,
You believe that it's you fault that he beats you,
You do as he says now,
Your scared of what he's going to do,
You do what he wants,
You don't answer back,
You cry and cry when you find out that your pregnant,
You know that he will get really pissed off,
You dont wanna bring a baby into this world,
You tell him that your pregnant,
You know what he will do,
He punches you in the stomach several times,
You loose that baby,
It's your fault you lost the baby,
You made him mad,
Just like he said,
Your not allowed a job,
You can't go out and see your friends and family,
Not allowed to use the phone,
Not allowed to speak to anyone,
You believe that everything is your fault,
He says everything is your fault,
He blames you for loosing the baby,
He punches you,
He slaps you,
He says it's for you own good,
He says that it's to teach you a lesson,
He says that he loves you,
He says he wont do it again,
He says he loves you,
But if he did he would not do it again.

You are in hospital on life support,
He beats you again, although he said he would not,
Your friends and family have not seen you for years,
They are upset,
He told them that a gang broke in to the flat and did it,
They see straight through the lies,
You had been sending letters to you best friend,
You told her everything,
She kept them all,
She shows them to your parents,
Your mum breaks down she can't handle it,
Your dad rings the police to get him taken away,
The police man took the letters and the "lover",
Your still on the life support machine,
Everyone is praying for you to be alright,
Everyone is hoping that he will be arrested,
You wake up one month later,
He is standing above you with that look in his eyes,
That sad look,
He said he wont do it again,
He said he was really sorry,
He says he loves you,
You accept his apology again,
You let him hug you,
You feel him clenching his fists,
You know what he's going to do,
He steps away from you,
He asks about the letters,
He said you betrayed him,
You see his hand flying to wards you,
You move out the way,
He screams at you for moving out the way,
He jumps on you,
He pins you to the bed,
He punches you,
You feel the pain shooting through your body,
Nurses come in and drag him off you,
Nurses ask if your ok,
The nurse says she will clean you up,
You just sit and stare at the wall,
They ask you how you can put up with it,
You say because he loves you,
Droplets of water appear in your eyes,
They roll down you cheeks like there is no tomorrow,
The nurse leaves you alone once she has finished,
You remember that she left a tray of knives in the corner of the room,
You slowly get up,
You make your way over to the tray,
You pick up one of the knives,
You push them into your wrists one at a time,
You slowly walk back to the bed,
You lay down and pull the covers up over you,
The light begins to fade,
You see a doctor look in on you,
He did not notice what colour the sheets were turning,
You slowly drift away.
It's all over now,
No more thoughts,
No more dreams,
No more trips to the hospital,
No more beating,
No more questions,
No more nothing,
No more you
